AJ!!!!!! You are the happiest baby in the world. I didn't think someone could smile so much. You have the most contagious, flirtatious smile, and it lights up the room!!! You have become such a big boy. You are rolling over, sitting up with assistance, and talking up a storm. You are eating oatmeal, fruit, rice cereal, and sucking down 6oz of a bottle every time you eat. You are awake each night around 2am and 4am and Daddy likes to split the time holding you and feeding you because we just can't get enough of you. I love when I am feeding you and I start to talk and you stop, look at me, and smile. It melts my heart. You also love when I sing, the feeling is recirporcal I am your number one fan too!
When I mentioned talking up a storm I should have said, sounding like a teradactyl, I mean it is so loud and so high pitched and so funny that you have all of us speaking your language. Bath time also brings out your personality as you just love getting the water poured all over you. You just smile and stick out that silly little tongue of yours that you love to curl. I have to admit I give you way to many baths because you just love them and you are just too cute!
It looks like you hair is going to continue to lighten, right now it had almost a red tint so Grandma keeps saying, "Are you going to be a ginger." Your Grandma is so silly. Your blue eyes are staying the course and like your sisters you have you own blue color that makes you, well you! C&D LOVE you! Danica calls you AJ ( AyyJ) and loves to read books to you where she creates the story and you are mesmerized by it. Charli loves to get right up and personality and speak to you in the highest voice ever and all she wants to do it hold you all the time. To say that you are ever alone would be a lie, you have someone wanting to hold you, play with you, cuddle you, bathe you, feed you, lick you at all times---yes even Reilly, hence where the licking comes in.
I just can't explain just how happy and cute you are. You are right on a schedule in all you do and you have been everything I have prayed for and more. No matter what we put you in or what we are doing you are non-stop adorable. You make everyone that sees you smile and the rest of your Aunts, Uncles, and cousins can't get enough either. You are SOOOOO loved and you are a dream come true.
I can see life changing very soon because you are enjoying the next phase of becoming mobile,a figuring out who to grab your feet, and I am sure they will be going in your mouth soon, but not if your rolls have anything to do with it. Currently you are just a really solid big boy. Lots of drooling, a slight cold and cough, all what a 5 month old baby in late October should be like, but you smile through it and just want to have fun. You love to play with your moose, turn the lights on and off, and be with your family.
It has been such an amazing experience having alone time with you and changing my works schedule. Everything just seems easier with you and I feel like such a better Mommy. I appreciate how well Grandma and Kathy take care of you when Mommy and Daddy are at work or have a night out an I really appreciate your sisters too!
Halloween is around the corner and this year our family theme is Alice in Wonderland and you cute this boy are going to be........" THE WHITE RABBIT." I can't wait to see how this comes together and how much the stimulus of the weather and costumes capture your attention. I am so looking forward to all the upcoming family events and holidays and are trip to Florida. Daddy, you, and I will be going to Florida for a wedding so your first flight will be days become you are 6 months old. Danica flew for the first time at 4 months and Charli at 9 months so I hope you follow in your sister's footsteps because they were awesome!
I love you AJ more than you will ever know. Keep on growing, keep on learning, keep on smiling, the world is anything you want it to be and I have high hopes for you baby boy!!!! Let the crawling begin!
