I keep telling people I prayed for you for so long and you are more than I could have ever imagined. You are the most beautiful and happy little boy I have ever met. At times a huge resemblance to your Uncle Eric. You are healthy, alert, smiley, talkative, active, strong, kind, innocent, happy, handsome, beautiful blue eyes....any and all of my descriptions are those of the perfect baby. I have never wanted to wake up in the middle of the night to hang out with someone more than I do with you. I think your Dad and I can agree that there has never been a time we are too tired, if anything we fight over holding you!!! I think we are just the luckiest parents in the world, and I can prove it!
Your 4 month Doctor appointment weighing in at 15.1 lbs and 50% across the board for height, weight, and head circumference follows the trend, but you are anything but average.
You have made a smooth transition to Kathy's which has made it so much easier on us. She agrees you are just the happiest baby. Every day when I pick you up I rush over there just to squeeze you, and you are always ready to see me and smiling. Then I put you in the car and give you a moose toy to play with and you talk and fidget with your moose the whole way home. I love our afternoon conversations, they are one of the best times of the day especially when we get to talk to Grandma on our way home. Whenever we call she always wants to face time you and always thinks you can see her. We need her to learn that even if you can't see her you light up when you hear her voice!
Then when we get home it is just me and you kid, oh and Reilly Boots, and she loves to lick your feet. You have no fear of her and she vise versa with you, so that has been another reason you were meant to be part of our amazing family.
Your sisters are in LOVE with you. They too are in line competing for time to hold you. Especially Danica, she thinks you are like her dolls so we have to make sure we are watching you at all times when she is around. I am starting to feel more comfortable with your strength and their understanding of you, so brother sister time is definitely important and happening more than before. When you were a bobble head I wasn't so sure, but already you are becoming a supported sitter which means that Dr. Mike cleared you for select foods. We have started with bananas and carrots both of which are a success, but what else would I expect from you. Oh and you love to eat your hand, I think you got my thumb sucking gene!!!! You have started to stay awake for the more of the day than you are awake and we are getting close to sleeping through the night. The more we fill your belly, I am sure the more sound asleep your nights will be. AJ! Every night you sleep in your crib. WE did it, Mommy and Daddy, are officially parents of a baby who sleeps in his crib and may I add it looks so comfy. Don't worry you are only about 2 feet from our bed so every night is still a sleep over. My little poopy butt.. lets not get too graphic on that but you are as regular as they come. GOOD BOY!
Can you believe that in this little time hat you have been out of my belly, you are already in your jump jump! You are grabbing at your toes. You are slamming you feet down in your crib during the night. You are twisting and turning on the play mat. You are tooting and talking. You are grabbing at things, holding thing, learning to communicate and move your mouth. And you just love when I sing to you. I have never felt more like an American Idol then when you stare and smile at me when I start to sing. You are my most prized possession, I don't want to put you down. We have so many awesome apparatus's for you and you are so felxible to every thing we put you in that again it is unbelievable the baby you are. I mean even the bath tub-- you love it!!!! I think it is a given that you will pee every time we first put you in, but it is just showing how freeing it is to you and just the care free baby you are! I have to admit that I was 4 month in when you finally got some pee to sneak out of your diaper and on the wall, but hey wipes have many purposes!!!!!! You just keep being you and doing what you are doing becuase whatever we are all doing together it working!!!!!
I try to tell you everyday that you are a champion. I am not sure a champion of what you will decide, but I can tell you that you are the champion of my heart!
